Here at Kilkenny Cooling Systems we pride ourselves in our ability to manufacture not just standard good quality coldrooms, but to engineeer extremely high quality bespoke designs for insulated rooms exactly to customers specific, often architect-specified, requirements.

An example of a past installation in this category is the world-famous five star Adare Manor Hotel and Golf Resort, which was a very significant renovation project throughout the latter part of 2016 and all of 2017, in which the coldrooms were engineered to an extremely high standard, with panel-integrated electrics and stainless steel finishes.

Most recently, Fallon & Byrne were the beneficiares of the famous Kilkenny Cooling Systems coldroom build, with the opening of Fallon & Byrne at the Swan Centre, Rathmines where a number of rooms were installed including a custom-built stainless steel cheese display coldroom. This rooms was specified and built to order. The design is configured to best showcase the fine selection of cheeses on offer, while fitting in with the overall aesthetic of the store

Other customers such as Avoca and Musgrave Group also have their own very specific requirements, which our design team is always more than happy to accommodate.

Fallon & Byrne at the Swan Centre, Rathmines is the third location for Fallon & Byrne, who also have sites in Exchequer Street & The People’s Park in Dun Laoghaire, both of which also had rooms installed by Kilkenny.

A substantial number of new jobs have been created in the Rathmines store. It represents a significant investment by Fallon & Byrne & it is expected to result in an increase to footfall in the Swan Centre.

 

The new store offers customers a large variety of fresh products sourced from selected Irish & international producers. The store includes a fruit & veg section, full service cheese, fish & butchery counters & even dry aged meat display fridges. There is also a huge variety of dine in options including, pizza, pasta, crepes, ice cream, confectionery, coffee, and much more. The store also features a large outdoor seating area which is separated from the indoor seating area by huge sliding glass doors which can be opened when the weather permits.
