This week we shipped our largest ever ice builder – a Kilkenny IB3100 – to a customer in the UK. This machine was custom-built as a special order for a client who needed a single large ice bank for use on a dairy farm. The ice builder has a reserve of over 6,000kg of ice – enough to instantly cool over 15,000 Litres of milk from 35°C to 4°C.
Our standard ice builder range is from IB0500 (990kg of ice) to IB2500 (2450kg of ice) however we are occasionally asked to manufacture one-off machines such as this.
We have ice builders on over 20 countries on 5 continents however they are particularly popular in Ireland and the UK for use in the dairy industry.
