The redevelopment of the North Stand at Etihad Stadium is part of a major £300 million expansion led by Manchester City F.C. The project adds more than 7,000 seats, increasing overall capacity to over 60,000 and reinforcing the stadium’s position among the largest club venues in England.
At the heart of the scheme are significantly upgraded spectator facilities. Supporting this enhanced fan experience is a comprehensive upgrade of the North Stand’s bar and catering infrastructure. All bar outlets within the new development will be equipped with event beer cooler systems supplied by Kilkenny Cooling Systems.
Designed specifically for high-demand environments such as stadiums and large-scale venues, these systems ensure consistent product temperature, rapid recovery times, and reliable performance during peak service periods.
A number of UK stadiums are now equipped with Kilkenny event beer coolers including Stadium MK, Emirates, Craven Cottage and more recently a full fitout in Everton’s brand-new Hill Dickenson stadium.
With more projects pencilled in already for summer 2026, Kilkenny continues to be a the cooler of choice for high demand environments in Ireland and UK.
