Computer Controlled System for High Volume Beer Dispense
High Volume Beer Dispense: Occasionally, we are asked to undertake specialist manufacturing work for existing customers of our own standard products. These projects are usually very interesting and although they can be quite challenging, they almost always form a great addition to our repertoire of custom-designed high quality equipment upon which we have built our reputation over 45 years in business.
This was a particularly interesting project, as it involved taking a customer’s existing proprietary technology – which consists of a state-of-the-art computer controlled beer dispense system used for high volume beer dispense – and building a robust mechanism around it – in order that the customer can use the system safely and securely as it survives a tough life on the road!.
We have an existing large international customer who specialises in providing solutions for high volume alcoholic drinks dispense – worldwide – at events such as sports games and festivals. This customer has developed a world-leading control system for high volume dispense of beer (and other beverages) and they came to us to develop a robust housing for their industry-leading equipment.
This customer already benefits from Kilkenny Cooling Systems equipment – they love our ultra durable heavy duty event beer cooling systems! So they approached us and asked if we could apply the same engineering skill, know-how and attention to detail to enhance their own multiple drinks dispense system – providing them with an overall dispense package – engineered entirely here in our factory in Kilkenny.
High Volume Beer Dispense
The goals were ease of use, robustness and simplicity of operation. The result was a custom-designed, counterbalanced, heavy duty, stainless steel mechanism for handling the beverages over tens of thousands of dispense cycles.
Overall this was an extremely interesting project to work on, which really drew our attention to the many possibilities of computer controlled drinks dispense.
